Hello (:

I’m a director and performance-maker, as well as a dramaturg and facilitator.

At its core, my work is about creating spaces where people can explore and embody gentler ways of being with themselves and other human/object bodies.

I also have a joint practice with dance artist Bernice Lee. In our long-term performance project Tactility Studies, we seek to draw attention to the reparative and transgressive nature of touch, and the delicacy of how bodies can encounter other bodies, human or non-human.

In addition to Bernice, I am stretched and nourished as a person and practitioner by a constellation of other people, such as researcher-practitioner Corrie Tan as well as playwright and editor Nabilah Said

I graduated from the University of British Columbia, Canada, with a Psychology (Honours) and Theatre (Major) degree. I’ve worked closely with Drama Box, Centre 42, Objectifs — Centre for Photography and Filmmaking, and was also an Associate Member of Dance Nucleus from 2018 to 2022.

In 2021, I co-founded CITRUS practices, a working group that seeks to expand conversations and imaginations around care practices in artmaking. I am also part of the Something-Something Working Group, which aims to imagine and prototype new paradigms and infrastructures for knowledge production, artistic practice and their contingent entanglements.
